A Walk Down Market Street

This short movie is from 1906, just four days before San Francisco's big earthquake and fire.  None of the buildings were standing after the quake -- except the Ferry Building which you can see at the end of the street.

There is a camera on the front of a streetcar.  Look at how crazy everyone is!  Bikes, cars, horses, streetcars, people are all going in front of each other.  It was crazy!
